Notice that the patch is hand sewn. Some of our ribbons in the early days were also hand made.
Not very professional looking but indicative of how important the swim team was to families.
In 1971 the team had 101 members. That's 101 patches that were made by hand!

The Squiggly Tree

A bench that someone (I've never known who) set up in a small clearing near the current site of the path down to the beach.
